Renée's design and construction background began at an early age in her family's southern contracting and decorating business. Her hands-on experience and training involved spatial planning, use of lighting and color, and furniture layout and interior design for both custom and model homes. She later built and designed several spec homes of her own while also pursuing her 20+ years in the print media sales and marketing industry.
In 2009, Renée purchased Jennings Furniture, the 1885 historic retail landmark in downtown St. Thomas. She continues to do some design work, both locally and internationally, while mainly focusing on operating the 25,000 square foot furniture store. Her travels to various tradeshows around the world bring an array of inspiration and style to her customers and the newly renovated three floors of Jennings Furniture and Design.
Renée is involved in the surrounding communities, serving on various boards and a member of numerous local and international organizations. She, her husband and son proudly reside in historic St. Thomas.
Jason’s passion for design began with his childhood love of all things artistic. His creative eye involved sketching, painting and even creating wood projects in his home wood shop. For the past 10 years, he has also spent time creating intricate wedding and event cakes that have wowed his clients. Jason brings more than twenty years of retail and customer service experience to the Jennings Team, with the last few years focused in the furniture and design industry.
Jason’s love for coordinating colour and texture, combined with his exceptional customer focus, leaves each client a space they will love to come home to for years to come. His love for a decorating challenge keeps him continually motivated as he researches individual design inspiration for every project, whether it be for a single item, room or entire home. You can depend on Jason to get the job done with precision and in a timely manner.
Nicole’s love for design started young. With an obsession of toy cars she was fascinated with their lines and curves, one of the many factors which contribute to a designer’s eye. With age came interest in virtual tours and open houses to admire their layouts so it was only a matter of time before she did something about it. Her love for car design blossomed into something much bigger.
She is a graduate of Interior Design with experience in sales where she was able to use her people skills and attention to detail to help create the customer’s design vision. Showroom design is where she got to bring her own perspective to life and truly challenge her space planning capabilities. Over 3 years in customer service her ability to gain trust from customers and quickly problem solve was successful due to her calm and creative demeanor. And with real estate background she is able to look at existing décor, advise of furniture layout changes and how to simplify the space, thereby creating an appealing and eye-catching environment to make the home selling experience quick and easy.

Interior Sales Consultant
Chrissy’s grandma taught her how to knit when she was 8. Thus began a life-long love for snuggly blankets! But her love for soft, pretty things didn’t stop there.
Chrissy later worked in fashion, providing an exceptional customer service experience for her clients. In later years she became a visual merchandiser, utilizing her creative talent with colour, shape, and spatial placement to bring beauty and balance to her projects. Her organizational skills are top-notch. In her spare time, she is surfing Pinterest and researching paint colours, planning her next painting project!
Chrissy’s love in helping clients find the right products and solutions for their needs is evident to all who have the opportunity to work with her. She specializes in making every customer a priority within our Linens Boutique with their household linen needs, whether it be in custom designing a bedding set, selecting the perfect dining table linens, replacing or updating bath linens, helping orchestrate a gift registry, or choosing designer fabrics for custom drapery or other household projects.
Cabinetry & Renovation Consultant
Andrew has been in the Customer Service industry for nearly 30 years with the last eight being focused on the design and installation of renovation projects. He has overseen a wide range of client inspirations from kitchens to bathrooms, closets to fireplace built-ins, complete basement and whole home renovations. Andrew will oversee your project from the beginning stages of ideas in your home to designing exactly what the client has envisioned - complete to the very last detail.
