Renée's design and construction background began at an early age in her family's southern contracting and decorating business. Her hands-on experience and training involved spatial planning, use of lighting and color, and furniture layout and interior design for both custom and model homes. She later built and designed several spec homes of her own while also pursuing her 20+ years in the print media sales and marketing industry.
In 2009, Renée purchased Jennings Furniture, the 1885 historic retail landmark in downtown St. Thomas. She continues to do some design work, both locally and internationally, while mainly focusing on operating the 25,000 square foot furniture store. Her travels to various tradeshows around the world bring an array of inspiration and style to her customers and the newly renovated three floors of Jennings Furniture and Design.
Renée is involved in the surrounding communities, serving on various boards and a member of numerous local and international organizations. She, her husband and son proudly reside in historic St. Thomas.

Kyle has always had a love of design and creating spaces that reflect the lives of those who inhabit them. Since childhood Kyle has applied his creative eye to varied outlets of artistic expression, including fashion design, fine art and photography. With his background in Fine Art and Fashion, Kyle's love of color, texture and pattern enables him to create new and exciting mixes inspired by nature, art or current fashion and design trends.
As a lover of history and tradition, Kyle draws inspiration from the past. This adherence to traditional design principles injects a sense of order and harmony to a space while mixing contemporary or unexpected elements, allowing for a highly personal, fresh approach to decorating. Kyle believes that each client's own unique style and background should shine through and into their home.
Leslie has always been creative and looked for ways to express that creativity from an early age. Working as a residential and mural painter with her family’s renovation business led to acceptance into H.B. Beal Fine Arts program where she studied photography and film, sculpture and painting, lithography and etching, art history and drawing with a focus on textiles and ceramics.
Since receiving her Interior Decorating Diploma, she has worked as both an independent interior decorator and kitchen and bath designer, utilizing exceptional customer service skills and a passion for creating beautiful, functional and uniquely designed spaces to fulfil all of her client’s needs and desires.

Kerri-ann was fascinated as a child by colour. Everything had to be in its proper place (the pencil crayons had to be in colour sequence and sharp). She always enjoyed art classes but knew fine art wasn't her best skill. Later, she realized that colour, balance and texture could be applied to decorating.
Starting her career at a local artificial plant store, she used her natural ability to create life-like arrangements and display them in a pleasing setting. She eventually became an assistant to a London decorator.
Kerri-ann specializes in making every customer's individual needs priority as her creativity and expertise flourishes within the Jennings linens, fabric and botanicals department.
Johanna joined the Jennings Team in 2012 as a Kitchen Designer. Johanna's attention to detail and creativity clearly defines her essential abilities. So much so that Fanshawe College has requested use of several of her projects that she completed during her Interior Decorating Program for representation on their website.
Needless to say, Johanna's hobbies also include extreme creativity. She enjoys faux finish painting, sewing, spinning wool and weaving, and gardening.
Johanna's most recent position at Jennings now also involves that of a Project Coordinator. She will oversee the completion of all cabinetry jobs, coordinating installers, measurements, placing orders, and anything that requires keeping the job running smoothly and on time. With attentive detail to this degree, the job will be done as promised -- or even better!
